Namibia

Namibia is a desert oasis bordered by Angola, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and the Atlantic Ocean. A country with a diverse background, German traditions are prevalent in the south, whereas in the north, the Himba tribe still resides as do older, traditional customs.

While there are numerous ways to see Namibia, visitors enjoy viewing the country and the Kalahari Desert via small aircraft flying. Along the Atlantic is the Skeleton Coast, a spectacular site of ship wrecks sunken into the sand, and thousands of seal. Traveling inland, Etosha National Park is home to the desert elephant, or elephants that have adapted to living in the desert. Within the park, four-wheelers are the best way to travel and capture the beauty of the desert and the steep, red sand dunes. No matter your taste or budget, Namibia offers a wide variety of safari lodges, hotels, and bed and breakfasts.
