South Africa
South Africa is known as A World in One Country, and for good reason. With over eleven official languages, numerous ethnic groups, and a population of approximately forty-five million people, South Africa has something to offer even the most discerning traveler. South Africa is bordered by Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, and Swaziland, with the Atlantic Ocean on the west and the Indian Ocean on the south and east.
Cape Town is a diverse city, offering a variety of activities, sights, and accommodations for any visitor's palate. The botanical gardens are spectacular with a display of different species with the deepest of colors. Johannesburg is a metropolitan city, and it is home to the Apartheid Museum, which tells the history and struggle of South Africa and its people. An hour northwest via air from Johannesburg is the animal lover’s paradise, Kruger National Park. Otherwise known as the South African Bush, safaris in Kruger National Park offer visitors the unique opportunity to see the Big Five: elephant, leopard, rhino, lion, and cape buffalo. Travelers are able to experience animals in their natural habitat, freely feeding and roaming the bush.
