Esbjerg

Esbjerg, Denmark's largest fishing port on the western coast of Jutland, was constructed between 1868 and 1874. It is the gateway to Ribe, a town founded in 869 and said to be Scandinavia's oldest, whose narrow cobblestone streets, 16th century half-timbered houses and magnificent Romanesque cathedral have an unforgettable charm.
