Izmir: The Greco-Roman City of Pergamum - 7 hours At 8:30 am, an English speaking private lecturer/guide will meet and greet you outside the Bonded Area of the Izmir cruise pier. You will then be escorted to your chauffeur driven private deluxe air-conditioned vehicle, for a comfortable ride of about one and a half hours to start your full day PERGAMUM tour, with its Asclepion and Acropolis. One of the biggest healing centers (medical center) of the ancient world (after Epidauros in Greece) was Asclepion. The oracles were using music and thermal spring water for treatment. One of the most celebrated citizens of Pergamum was physician GALEN. The author of several medical books, Galen (AD 129 – 200) practiced at Pergamum in the Asclepion and in Rome, where the Emperor Marcus Aurelious was among his patients. Compass Rose

This is the perfect setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on Deck 5, Compass Rose delights with a beautifully defined atmosphere and transitions from refreshing natural light during the day to a romantic theme at night. The new dinner menu is so encompassing and customizable that it provides guests with a seemingly endless combination of dishes to choose from such as meat, fish and seafood items, prepared to taste, garnished with a sauce of choice and complemented with side dishes and accompaniments. Additionally, each evening the ship’s Executive Chef creates nightly specials, which adds more than a dozen mouthwatering appetizers, pasta dishes and entrée choices to the menu.

La Veranda

Located on Deck 10 aft, guests take in stunning ocean views while enjoying elegant breakfast and lunch buffets in the chic indoor dining room or al fresco on the shaded, open-air deck. Breakfasts include traditional favorites, as well as a made-to-order omelet station, a variety of fresh fruits and pastries, along with daily specials, like fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh blueberry compote. For lunch guests indulge in an array of choices from a bountiful salad bar, gourmet sandwiches, hot carving stations and delicious desserts.

Pool Grill

The ultimate come-as-you-are dining venue, the Pool Grill couldn’t be more casual. Located on Deck 10, guests may walk over straight from sunbathing or swimming in the pool. The Pool Grill is open-air, yet abundantly shaded for comfortable dining. Enjoy grilled-to-order burgers, grilled seafood, sandwiches and fresh salads. Guests enjoy milk shakes, malts, and hand-dipped ice cream desserts sprinkled with all their favorite toppings.

Prime 7

A true classic in every sense, Prime 7 sets a new standard in steakhouse fare with its contemporary interpretation of an American favorite. Located on Deck 10, the restaurant is handsomely decorated with supple leather wing-back chairs, burnished woods and rich earth-toned fabrics, Prime 7 exudes a distinct, intimate elegance. This is glamour redefined, a luxurious setting to enjoy classic steakhouse cuisine with a modern flair. Prime 7 is open for dinner each evening, reservations are required.

Room Service

Twenty-four hours a day, guests enjoy everything from a Continental breakfast in the privacy of their spacious balcony to a gourmet dinner served course-by-course, delivered to their suite. The in-suite menu includes a variety of appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts. During dinner time, the menu expands to include entrée selections from Compass Rose, the largest specialty restaurant at sea.

Library

Well-stocked and exceedingly comfortable, the Library offers a calm setting for reading and relaxing. A vast collection of volumes ranging from destination-specific guide books to best-selling mysteries to classic literature are available. Seven Seas Navigator offers FREE WiFi access throughout the ship, however if a guest prefers to travel without a laptop, the Library offers several desktop computers. The Library is conveniently located on Deck 6 mid-ship.

More than a lecture series, this program is completely interactive. Shipboard Policies

Special Dietary Needs - Advance Notice Required
Guests with special dietary requests should advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises of any special dietary requirements 90 days prior to sailing by sending an e-mail to rsscops@rssc.com. General dietary needs such as low salt or low cholesterol foods can be satisfied onboard the ship just by speaking with the dining wait staff.
Pregnancy Policy
Regent Seven Seas Cruises cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during, the cruise.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all suites, staterooms and balconies fleet-wide. In addition, cigarette, electronic cigarette or cigar smoking is not permitted in any enclosed dining areas, whether it be the ship's main dining rooms, the alternate dining venues or the outdoor dining areas. Electronic cigarette smoking is permitted throughout the ship with the exception of the dining areas mentioned above.
Cigarette smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the outdoor pool area and the following public rooms:
- Connoisseur Club
- Horizon Lounge (outdoor one side designated area)
- Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar)
Cigar Smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club and the designated area on the opposite side of the Pool Bar.
Pipe smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club. Pipe smoking in open deck areas is considered an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.
Failure to comply with the above-stated policy will result in guests being asked to leave the ship at their expense, without refund or credit for the unused portion of their cruise.
Wheelchair Access & Special Needs
Guests with any medical condition(s) that require special services, including travel with medical apparatus, should advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises in writing at time of booking. Please note some ports-of-call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and special arrangements may need to be made.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' wheelchairs on board are for emergency purposes only. Guests requiring a wheelchair for mobility must bring their own.
For guests requiring oxygen equipment, an oxygen concentrator is the only form of oxygen equipment allowed aboard ship, and must be provided by the guest.
Regent has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort on board may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
