Brisbane: City Sights and Koala Encounters - 4.5 hours
This morning you will be met at your cruise vessel by your private guide and vehicle for a half day tour of Brisbane and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Head to Mt Coot-tha for stunning views over Brisbane’s downtown, across the suburbs and out to the islands. Your guide will provide a brief historical tour of Brisbane’s downtown and of the region’s rich history, from English prison to modern metropolis.

During your tour, you will visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Learn about Australia’s native fauna on a guided tour through the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, with over 130 koalas. The sanctuary has a large variety of other Australian wildlife, all in beautiful and natural settings. Highlights include a variety of birds of prey and hand-feeding the soft, friendly kangaroos. You may even pat or hold one of the scaly, ‘friendly’ snakes in the snake show. A photograph holding an iconic koala is a popular optional extra. Some of the many other animals are crocodiles, Tasmanian devils, eastern water dragons, platypus and wombats.

Drive to Southbank, where you will enjoy a walk along the river with lovely views of Brisbane’s downtown. Options at Southbank include the very popular and unique ‘City Beach’, surrounding parklands, markets and the 60-metre tall ‘Wheel of Brisbane’ (giant Ferris wheel). On the way back, stop at the Kangaroo Cliffs for lovely views over the city and the Botanical Gardens.

On conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise terminal.

Tour duration: approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes
Cost includes: touring in luxury vehicle, professional local guide, pick-up and return to the cruise ship, refreshments
Cost excludes: lunch

Brisbane: Australia Zoo and Montville
This morning you will be met at your cruise vessel by your private guide and vehicle for your day tour to Australia Zoo and Montville.

Your zoo visit starts with a special visit to Australia Zoo’s multi-million dollar animal hospital. Here, you will have the chance to pat a koala and may take up the optional extra of a photograph holding a koala.

In the central section see 20 beautiful snakes including 10 of the most poisonous in the world. Watch the intriguing round wombats eat, sleep and scratch. Walk through the tropical Australian bird aviary with around 40 beautifully coloured species. See Australia’s famous ‘Big Red’ kangaroos and hand-feed these friendly kings of the Aussie bush.

At the ‘Crocoseum’ enjoy the main show of the day – ‘Wildlife Warriors’. See Steve’s dream come alive as a variety of birds-of-prey and other beautifully coloured endangered birds from around the world fly close overhead. The show climaxes as a crocodile leaps out of the water for his food.

Stop along the way to enjoy a gourmet lunch before visiting the spiky echidnas and patting and feeding the Wallabies.

Time permitting enjoy a visit to gorgeous Montville in the hinterland with arts, cafes, wines and stunning views over the Glasshouse Mountains before returning to your accommodation.

On conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise terminal.

Tour duration: approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes
Cost includes: touring in luxury vehicle, professional local guide, pick-up and return to the cruise ship, lunch

Brisbane: Lamington National Park Day Tour - 8.5 hours
This morning you will be met at your cruise vessel by your private guide and vehicle for your day tour to the World Heritage listed Lamington National Park.

On the way to Mount Tamborine, learn about the convict history of Brisbane and the European settlement of southern Queensland. Stretch your legs at the Curtis Falls Rainforest Walk: this easy walk into the sub-tropical rainforest includes numerous beautiful palms and strangler figs, ending at a delightful little rock pool with waterfalls.

Mount Tamborine is well known for its boutique wineries, award-winning distillery and micro-brewery as well as gourmet cheese tasting. Take your pick or just relax for an hour along the village ‘Gallery Walk’ with art galleries, gift shops and cafes.

Deep in the rainforest and back up into UNESCO World Heritage-listed parkland, learn about the region’s pioneering history while enjoying a great lunch high on the mountain with views over the valleys. Hand-feed the cheeky, but vibrantly coloured, crimson rosellas and king parrots – both are truly some of Australia’s most beautiful birds.

The famous O'Reilly's Tree Top Walk starts by stepping inside a giant strangler fig: look up 35 metres (100 feet) and see the cylindrical tunnel inside the trunk all the way to the top of the tree, with shafts of light piercing through random holes on the trunk. The highlight for many is a walk through the rainforest’s canopy. Take a moment to close your eyes and relax. Lamington is a true bird-lover paradise with over 160 species, like the glossy black cockatoo and majestic satin bowerbird.

Upon conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise terminal.
