My heart is and has always been in Travel! I was born in Ivory Coast to French parents and moved to the U.S when I was a child. I know first hand how important it is to bridge gaps within different cultures and I find that Travel helps to do that! I am European but became American, I was born in Africa so my heart is there, I have always been drawn to the Middle East and the Maghreb and I love traveling to Spanish speaking countries. I worked in a Tour Receptive Operator for 11 years primarily on Leisure tour groups, and I therefore became very accustomed to traveling to a large majority of the U.S parks and cities, some islands here and there, Canada, etc. Because of this experience at the operator, I have a special place in my heart for hotel stays because I was a Director of Hotel Contracting for many years. Internationally, some of the countries that I have visited that have left a big impression (some of which I have traveled to a few times) have been Morocco, Turkey, Mexico and Costa Rica (pura vida!) I will of course always be partial regarding France and particularly Paris which remains a city I believe everyone should visit one time! Some of the coolest things I have done have been to visit Petra in Jordan, land on a glacier in Alaska, July 4th fireworks from a tiny boat in the San Francisco bay which has been my backyard for 24 years, taken a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, visited Antelope Canyon and Bryce and celebrated Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico!
